OPENING HOURS

 

 Monday to Friday: 09.00 – 19:00 staffed hours 

 

                        Saturdays: 10:00-13:00 staffed hours                       

 

Sundays: 24/7 only

 

Bank Holidays: CLOSED

 

 TNT community fitness reserves the right to amend opening hours. Members will be notified of any changes via the contact details submitted on signing up or on TNT's social media platforms. Members must ensure they allow sufficient time to complete their session and cease use of the gym in adequate time to leave before closing time.

 

24 Hour Access members can access the gym via their 24-hour key-fob any time unless there is a specific closure – which you will be notified of via your submitted contact details. The gym will not be staffed outside of the standard hours. Training outside of standard hours is at the individuals risk, we do however recommend training in pairs. TNT community fitness is not liable for any injury as a result of lone training. CCTV is in operation.

 

 FOOD AND DRINK / SMOKING AND DRUGS

 Snacks may be consumed in the reception area but not within the gym. Drinks may be consumed throughout the premises. Alcohol or illegal substances may not be consumed within the gym or its grounds. TNT community fitness is a non-smoking and vaping environment - if smoking or vaping outside, please move away from the TNT entrance and signage.

 

 CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR

Suitable footwear and clothing must be worn. You should not train wearing open-toe sandals/flipflops, dirty work boots or trainers, loose/unsafe clothing, or other items that may cause a hazard to your safety.

 

 CHANGING ROOMS

TNT community fitness does not provide a strict changing room; however, our large bathroom provides adequate changing space. You are responsible for your own property within the facilities and TNT community fitness will not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage of your personal items within the premises. 

 

 LOST PROPERTY

You are responsible for your own property within the facilities and TNT community fitness will not be held liable for any loss, theft or damage of your personal items within the premises. CCTV is in operation 24/7 however we can only monitor footage for serious incidents, and not for the search of lost items. Any items left overnight will be held for one week as lost property. Lost property is donated to charity if unclaimed for one week.

 

 ACCESS AND EVACUATION

Entry and exit to TNT community fitness is via main entrance door. We ask that you do not enter or exit via the fire door. The rear fire exit, which is clearly marked, must not be blocked or interfered with for any reason.

 In the event of an emergency evacuation, members and guests must immediately make their way to the nearest available exit (main door or fire exit) leaving personal belongings behind.

 


 CHILDREN & MINORS

In the interest of safety and our commitment to safeguarding, no children under the age of 14 years old are permitted in the gym. Student membership is available for those age 14-17, those age 18 and above require adult membership.

We may, in rare circumstances, permit under 14s into the gym at our own discretion, however only the reception area will be accessible for waiting purposes, and our staff and trainers will not be responsible for the whereabouts and safety of any children who are within the venue.

 


 BEHAVIOUR

Individuals found to be causing nuisance or offence to other members, guests, or staff will be asked to leave. Misuse or mistreatment of the gym facilities, inappropriate behaviour, abusive language or violence will not be tolerated and may result in the suspension or termination of your membership. 

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

No photography of other members without their prior consent is allowed at any time and we reserve the right to ask you to delete any unwelcome photographs if we receive complaints. Failure to provide proof of doing so can result in termination of membership.

 

 COMMENTS AND COMPLAINTS

Please refer to any comments or complaints to a member of staff. Written complaints must be addressed to Carl Smith at tntcommunityfitness@hotmail.com

 

 PHYSICAL ACTIVITY READINESS QUESTIONNAIRE

All members are required to maintain an up-to-date Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q). This is completed digitally within the Clubright app. The purpose of this is to ensure that staff are fully informed of any physical or medical condition which could affect the members ability or suitability to take part in physical activities. In the event of an emergency, staff can use this information to correctly assess a member’s health and condition to assist or call for assistance appropriately. We strongly recommend that all members seek medical advice before commencing a new exercise programme and we reserve the right to request a doctor’s certificate and to reject a membership application if a satisfactory doctor’s certificate is not received.

 

 JOINING, MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CANCELLATION

TNT community fitness offers a 24-Hour membership with a sign up fee of £5. This includes your key fob for entry. 

 

14–17-year memberships can only be registered by a parent/guardian who is over the age of 18 and proof of age will be required. The 14-17 year is only permitted to train on the premises when with a parent/guardian who is over the age of 18. If the 14-17 year attends the premises to train without a parent/guardian, then we will not take any responsibility for any misuse of equipment and any injuries caused. 

 

Refunds cannot be issued, in full or part, for your failure to utilise the facilities within the timeframe of your membership. Your memberships cannot be extended due to lack of use within its validity or transferred to another person.

 Rolling memberships require payment on the 1st of each month by direct debit. If your direct debit payment fails, your access will be revoked until it clears. Your membership debt cannot be cleared within the gym in person, as the direct debit instruction automatically resubmits every 3-5 working days.

 You are welcome to request cancellation at any time, giving 30 days’ notice in writing to tntcommunityfitness@hotmail.com. Any payments due within 30 days must be cleared for your account to close, and you will still have access until, this date.

 


 REVOKING ACCESS & BARRING

Our team reserve the right to end your training session and ask you to leave the premises, revoke your membership, and refuse future membership or access. Our team reserve the right to deny access or membership, those who enter the venue against instruction not to are trespassing and will be reported accordingly.

 

CCTV is always operational, including the outside carpark area.
